Truelogic has combined the relational database approach with an indexing search engine that caches data on many dimensions and allows for blazingly fast search results regardless of the scope of the search criteria. The user can search an entire state for 3 bedroom and 2 bath listings as quickly as a single zip code. The independent cache is updated periodically based on changes to the database and is quickly queried by the application even when the database is under heavy load.
