This has proven to be a very effective and important practice to implement, one that leads to improvement and to the mutual growth of both parties.

May 14, 2010 Press Release: True Training : Teamwork and Leadership

The team will be trained in small groups, carefully handpicked by our HR department, according to the skill level of each resource and the responsibilities that pertain to their respective positions.
For example, for the PM (project managers) and POC (points of contact) the first intensive course will be related to their abilities to manage a team and to effectively communicate with clients. These training courses are aligned with and supported by the themes covered in our weekly English classes. The goal of this new program is to greatly improving the communication skills of our team with our US and other foreign clients.  Day to day we work really hard to provide the best service, improve our practices, and gain more knowledge.

The Truelogic team is preparing for our annual ISO audit that will take place the upcoming 20th of April, for re-certification under the international quality standard ISO 9001:2008.
Each business sector (Services, Sales, Human Resources, Procurement and Administration) will be independently audited. The objective of the audit is to ensure that Truelogic is correctly implementing the quality assurance processes corresponding to each sector, and that day to day we are renewing our commitment to quality and customer satisfaction.

For that reason, we put a lot of importance on our Human Resources department which strives to construct a positive work environment and instill in our employees a strong sense of commitment and responsibility for their work.

Truelogic has managed to maintain low turnover rates since the company´s inception, especially in comparison to other companies of the same industry.

In August, our HR department determined the turnover rate for the first semester of 2009.

We are proud to announce that the turnover rate for the first semester of 2009 is our lowest ever at 2% representing a 66% decrease from last year´s calculations which came to 6%.

With a 2% turnover rate, we are confident in saying that we have reached an ideal rate and we are proud that we are able to retain the high quality professionals that make up our team.

As a result, our employees can count on a workplace characterized by a strong sense of stability, commitment and responsibility.

We want to share this news since this achievement ultimately translates into a direct benefit for our clients seeing that for each of our projects we are able to provide a stable development team (reducing the risks of high employee turnover and diminishing quality of deliverables).

Moreover, our team members are responsible and committed, adding value to the projects they are working on especially when having to work through tough timelines.

*Turnover Rate: The calculation of the rate at which a company hires and loses employees. The calculation is used to gauge the stability and satisfaction level of the company since it represents how long employees tend to stay. The actual calculation is determined by dividing the number of employees that have left the company in a given span of time, by the total number of employees working in the company during the same period of time.

Jul 10, 2009 Press Release: Work Environment Survey

The principal objective of this survey is to gauge employee satisfaction in the following areas: to what extent they identify with the general philosophy of the company, salary, trainings, thoughts about the HR department, internal communication and relationships with superiors.

The survey contains semi-direct questions that have to be answered by multiple choice, on a scale from very low to very high. In addition to the multiple choice questions, there is a space at the end of the survey for additional comments. Also, to encourage participation and the sincerity of answers, this survey can be taken anonymously.

Once all surveys are completed and delivered, HR starts with the action plan phase. They count and analyze the answers; they calculate the corresponding percentages and the results are presented to all members of the company in small group meetings.

After the meetings, HR takes appropriate action to improve all aspects considered on the survey, including the ones that received high scores, because Truelogic’s goal is to create the most comfortable and prosperous atmosphere possible, because we understand the direct relation between motivated and happy employees and successful projects. Truelogic is pleased to announce that the results for the first semester survey show the highest satisfaction rate ever, with an 80% level of overall satisfaction.
